Aufgaben:

• Design of compressor and turbine test rigs and their test bench adaptation, in particular assemblies in the test article environment such as inlet, traversing systems, guide vane actuation systems, casings, bearings, etc.
• Design tasks from simple component testing to complex engine and component assemblies for development.
• Documentation through designs, detail drawings (including parts lists) and 3D models in the CAD Tool NX and PLM Teamcenter

Qualifikationen:

• Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent
• 2+ Years’ experience in relevant field
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of CAD modelling, assembly and drafting (experience with Siemens NX will be beneficial)
• Sound knowledge of basic general design and drafting standards (e.g. geometric tolerancing).
• Very good English and German capabilities, both spoken and written.
• Capable to systematically evaluate complex relationships and resolve complex problems.
• Team player with capability to work within Simultaneous Engineering Teams

Gewünschte Kompetenzen:

• Experience in the field of aviation or aero-engine design will be beneficial.
• Experience in the design of high precision, highly loaded components and build groups, design of test rigs (mechanical design)
• Sound knowledge of plm-systems
