Description:

AmTrust International are currently looking for a Risk Analyst to join our team based out of our Dublin office on a hybrid basis.
The Risk Analyst will be responsible for delivering key elements of the enterprise risk management framework including key risk processes, risk reporting and developing the role of Risk in key areas of the business

The primary responsibility will be running the core risk processes. Other essential functions of this role will include but are not limited to:

  • Production of quarterly risk reports, including liaison with the business to collate the Risk Appetite metrics as well as delivering this plus other ad hoc information up to executive leadership level.
  • Support the maintenance of the risk policy suite including the risk appetite and development of appropriate risk indicators
  • Run the action tracking process to ensure appropriate management attention on key topics
  • Lead the identification, reporting and management of operational events.
  • Support the ‘top down’ and ‘bottom up’ risk assessments and associated assurance activity.

Successful candidates will possess a strong insurance, financial and risk background – ideally from a general insurance background, have proven experience working with leaders across the business as well as relevant risk management experience.
The right candidate will have strong organisational skills, be detail oriented, a good working knowledge of MS office, be an effective communicator and consider yourself a people person and someone who thrives in an ever-changing environment.
