Samsung Electronics Romania is looking for a Risk Analyst for the Risk Management Team.
Role and Responsibilities

Internal Control:

  • Operational risk, investigating risk items, reporting the result to CFO, CEO.
  • Monitoring and preventing warnings that may occur on a daily basis;
  • Tracking internal KPIs;
  • Checking documentation for activities such as B2B; payment of marketing campaigns (documentation)
  • Reconciliation and analysis of Balance Sheet accounts
  • Quarterly/monthly/yearly verification of financial information from other departments
  • Verify the accuracy of the use of GCOA (General Charts of Accounts)
  • Other responsibilities that may be related to the work of the department

Periodic reporting:

  • Prepares the reporting package and submits to the auditors the necessary information for verification;
  • Responsible for the timely preparation according to internal guidelines of Standard Internal Control reports and other reports requested by Corporate
  • Ensures that Early Warning are followed up and resolved
  • Updates internal company procedures, communicates internally and ensures they are followed to prevent risk.
  • Check and report monthly (eg. possible double payment, negative balances of AR and AP, negative expenditure or income, timely recording of documents)

Skills and Qualifications

  • minimum 3 years in a similar position
  • diploma in economics/audit/finance
  • solid Romanian & English language knowledge
  • Strong analytical and logical thinking capability
  • Ability to work well with numbers
  • Attention to details
  • Pragmatism, problem-solving capabilities
