What You Bring to the Table
The Beck Group is searching for a detail-oriented Risk Analyst to join our team. The Risk Analyst will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with our construction projects. This role requires a proactive approach to risk management, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with our teams across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough risk assessments for new and ongoing construction projects.
  • Identify potential risks related to safety, financial, operational, and regulatory factors.
  • Maintain a comprehensive risk register.
  • Collaborate with project managers, safety officers, and other stakeholders to address identified risks.
  • Analyze data from various sources to identify trends and patterns in risk factors.
  • Prepare detailed risk reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Provide regular updates on risk status and recommend corrective actions.
  • Creating and managing the prequalification criteria for evaluating subcontractors, including financial stability, safety records, technical capabilities, past performance, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Ensuring that all subcontractors complete the necessary prequalification documentation accurately and within the specified timeframes.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date database of prequalified subcontractors, including relevant documentation and performance records.
  • Identifying potential risks associated with subcontractors and implementing and enforcing Risk Controls to mitigate these risks.
  • Ensuring that subcontractors comply with all legal, regulatory, and company-specific requirements, including insurance and bonding.
  • Collaborating with project managers, teams, and other stakeholders to understand project-specific needs and requirements.
  • Preparing reports on subcontractor performance and prequalification activities for senior management.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve the prequalification process and implementing best practices.
  • Staying updated with industry trends, standards, and regulations to ensure the prequalification criteria and process remain relevant and effective.
  • Conducting internal training sessions for project teams and stakeholders on the prequalification process and criteria.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in risk analysis or a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.

Physical Demands:
Frequently required to sit, stand, and move about the office; frequently operates a computer and other office productivity equipment; may lift and move up to ten pounds; constantly communicates with project teams, Beck employees, and external vendors; ability to adhere to timely and consistent attendance.
