ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you seeking a role where you make a significant impact though managing and navigating risks and compliance? We are seeking a dynamic Risk and Compliance Specialist to oversee enterprise risk management, insurance, and our ethics and compliance programs. In this critical role, you will develop and implement strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate risks, manage insurance portfolios, and ensure our compliance program runs seamlessly. You will also manage the ethics and the compliance reporting platform, BridgeLine, conduct investigations, and ensure cases are accurately resolved.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Role Responsibilities include:
- Enterprise Risk Management including developing and implementing risk management strategies, policies and frameworks, identifying and assessing risks, conducting risk assessments and monitoring and reporting on risk exposure.
- Management of the organisation’s insurance programs ensuring the adequacy of current insurance, identifying improvements and claims management.
- Maintenance and updating the compliance program and policies, monitoring regulatory changes and assessing their impact.
- Supporting compliance audits and reviews.
- Managing the ethics and compliance reporting platform, BridgeLine.
- Incident Management through investigating and reporting on compliance reports, breaches, insurance claims, and risk-related incidents, whilst developing and implementing corrective actions.
- Supporting global, regional, and local risk and compliance initiatives.
- Promoting a risk-aware culture and developing and delivering compliance training programs.
Are you passionate about working in a dynamic environment navigating complex regulatory landscapes? If you have a minimum of 5 years’ experience and in-depth knowledge of risk management, insurance principles and compliance regulations, this role is for you! What you’ll bring to the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in risk management, Law, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional risk management certification (e.g. RIMS, CRMA, CRMP, PRM) is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing effective risk, insurance, and compliance programs.
- Experience in the automotive, solutions, and consumer goods industries will be highly valued.
- Proficiency in using risk management, insurance, and compliance software/tools, as well as the Office365 suite of programs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively independently and in a team, as well as with cross-functional teams
