Description:
Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) is an organizational area that operates as an internal service provider for the Hydro group. Its ultimate purpose is to deliver relevant IT, financial and HR business services to all business areas within the company.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- College/University degree in Finance/Economics/Accounting
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance
- Proficiency with SAP / S4 HANA accounting software
- Experience using MS Excel and Word
- Fluency in English is required, any additional language is a plus
- Knowledge of commercial credit products, market trends
- Basic knowledge of common arithmetic functions, graphs, charts, and financial modelling
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and quantitative skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer service orientation and skills
- Adept at high-stakes decision making and negotiations
- Experience in Trade/Finance/Banking areas of international corporations and/or banks is a plus
Responsibilities:
ROLE PURPOSE
- Ensure and optimize collaboration with business partners in the OtC cycle.
- Control and reduce risk of receivables, minimize working capital and bad debt.
- Adherence to with internal and external compliance regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Gathering information, obtaining financial and payment information of customers, and reviewing their creditworthiness by analysing these data
- Analysing and evaluating regional, industry and sector trends
- Recommending credit limits and payment terms for customers
- Suggesting payment schemes, recommending securities
- Assisting commercial organization in negotiating with customers
- Risk assessment related administration tasks
