You will:

  • Manage a team of talented and smart individuals
  • Learn about Risk Weighted Assets calculations and capital requirements
  • Take part in projects focusing on the implementation of new requirements from the regulator or senior management
  • Create ad hoc analysis and regulatory data requests – every day is different
  • Understand the portfolios and businesses of the Firm from a risk standpoint
  • Partner with key business areas and stakeholders to assure compliance with external regulations – to meet the ever-changing regulatory environment
  • Explore opportunities to increase efficiency with regards to our ‘business as usual’ processes (e.g. automation, new technologies, smart solutions, etc.)
  • Develop and maintain reports and analysis tools focusing on capital charge

QUALIFICATIONS

You have:

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in a quantitative field such as Finance, Economics and Mathematics
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in the financial industry, preferably in risk management, treasury capital management or regulatory reporting
  • Team management experience
  • General financial product and market knowledge
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Familiarity with VBA / Python / SQL / Matlab
  • Good analytical, problem solving and organizational skills

Team Profile:
The Risk Capital Team provides calculation and analysis of regulatory capital. The team produces reports for the Regulators, Senior Management, and other key stakeholders in the Risk Department.
