Responsibilities:

IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT IN THE FOLLOWING WAYS:

Lead and influence the resolution of data quality issues, working cross -functionally to identify root cause, implement corrective action and prevent recurrence.
Execute data quality monitoring processes and tools to detect, measure, and report on data quality issue and anomalies.
Collaborate with business units, data owners, and data custodians to identify critical data assets, define data quality requirements, and establish data quality metrics and KPIs.
Serve as a subject matter expert on data stewardship best practices, methodologies, and tools an provide guidance and support to stakeholders across Compliance, Risk and Finance.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, WE’RE SEEKING THE FOLLOWING:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
5-7 years of total work experience with at least 3-5 years in a data management role. Experience in compliance, risk management, finance and/or banking tech over operational activities (business analysis, testing, etc.), reference data and/or enterprise data management.
Experienced hands-on Data and Metadata Management, from concept to implementation with a demonstrable track record of delivery.
Strong stakeholder management and people skills, and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities under pressure.
Strong understanding of data governance principles, data quality management concepts, and regulatory requirements (e.g. BCBS 239).
