Responsibilities:
We have an immediate vacancy for a proactive and self-motivated Risk & Compliance Manager. Working within a client-focused environment in one of Ireland’s Top 10 Accountancy Firms, this is an excellent opportunity to join a professional and fast paced team. The successful candidate will support the firm’s leadership and internal management by implementing and overseeing a compliance framework that will enable them to securely implement their growth plans.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting policies, procedures, training, reminders, and updates on money laundering, terrorist and proliferation financing, and sanctions for review and approval by the MLRO;
- Identifying relevant changes to legislation, regulation and associated guidance, summarising recommendations on changes RSM Ireland should consider making, including a business impact analysis and timeline;
- Support client engagement teams to ensure RSM Ireland maintains ethical integrity and independence, not only as an independent firm, but also a Member Firm of the RSM International Network;
- Plan, organise, and manage the firm’s annual obligations to the accounting regulatory body and the firm’s international network, while ensuring compliance with professional regulations and standards;
- Drafting content for, and supporting MLRO in the determination of, the firmwide risk assessments
- Delivery of awareness and skills training to Client Engagement teams involved in Client Acceptance Procedures;
- Defining the prioritisation for projects across the function, and regularly reporting on progress;
- Developing and maintaining operational metrics across the team, and monitoring for potential ‘pinch points’ where additional resources or support may be required;
- Oversee knowledge/ guidance management and dissemination amongst the team, as well as the wider business;
- Reviewing matters escalated to Compliance to ensure that risks have been appropriately identified, evaluated, and documented; and
- Management of key compliance projects and roles which will arise in the normal course of business.
