Responsibilities:
As a member of the Risk team, your role is to support the maintenance and constant improvement of the
Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework and to implement it by advising and assisting the business
in the daily identification, assessment, monitoring and reporting of operational and strategic risks.
Your responsibilities will be as follows:
- Review operational, financial and strategic risks with subject matter experts and management as part of the self-assessment process;
- Analyse processes and controls and propose improvements to ensure that related risks are in line with the Company’s risk appetite;
- Review and advise on operational incidents, to analyse their root causes and prevent recurrence;
- Perform process reviews and control testing to assess the design and operating effectiveness of the control environment and report on results;
- Proactively assist in the preparation of reports to management incl. the preparation and validation of data;
- Liaise with other control functions such as Compliance and Internal Audit;
- Participate in the assessment of the capital requirements for operational risks under Solvency II;
Actively contribute in strengthening the risk and control maturity level across the company;Identify and suggest new ideas and solutions, thinking out of the box to support constant improvement of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework;
