Within this role, you will supervise the team and ensure delivery of tasks such as:

  • Yearly planning of meeting schedules, ensuring correct scheduling order and performance deadlines are met.
  • Liaising with Chief Officers Executive team to ensure diaries align and meetings are scheduled appropriately.
  • Administration management of Force boards and meetings.
  • Completing meeting agendas, ensuring required attendance, relevant reports and performance updates are available.
  • Composing highlight reports following board meetings, accurately recording discussions and actions.
  • Briefing senior officers, when necessary, on any potential issues to be aware of in relation to the relevant board meetings.
  • Working alongside Officers, Chief Officers and the OPCC to ensure statutory reports are written and presented to a high quality and delivered within designated time-frames.
  • Managing the corporate risk/issue register; ensuring mitigation and implementation plans are in place.
  • Presenting to Chief Officer boards on risk/issues register and policies.
  • Managing policy register to ensure policies are relevant and up to date
