As a Risk Management - Credit Risk Controllers & Analytics – Senior Associate within the Credit Risk Controller & Analytics team, you will be responsible for providing complete, timely, accurate, and useful data on the credit risk generated by the Firm’s wholesale lines of businesses. You will have the opportunity to develop new Business Intelligent Solutions to improve analytical and control capabilities, and stay up to date on the latest Risk related news and trends across the financial services industry. Your role will involve analysis of the Wholesale Credit portfolio, supporting the Credit Risk organization on regulatory exams, and assisting in the production of monthly credit risk data, analytics and commentary.
We are seeking an analytical team member to join our Credit Risk Controller & Analytics team. This role requires the ability to engage in conceptual discussions with stakeholders and translate these into high-quality end-products. The ideal candidate should be able to understand, challenge, and narrate the story behind the numbers. Our team is responsible for providing comprehensive, timely, and accurate data on the firm’s wholesale credit risk, serving key stakeholders such as the Firmwide Chief Risk Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Investor Relations.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in risk and/or financial reporting or equivalent; experience in SEC / Regulatory reporting, project management
- Understanding of credit risk (i.e. traditional credit products and counterparty risk)
- Understanding of the Firm’s credit risk systems (iCRD, CRRT)
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Power Point).
- Excellent interpersonal skills needed for working within a team environment as well as communicating across departments
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, AND SKILLS
Knowledge of Alteryx, Tableau, LLM, and Business Objects is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct Analysis of the Wholesale Credit portfolio, which includes the Corporate & Investment Bank, Commercial Banking, Asset & Wealth Management and risk-rated businesses within Consumer and Community Banking
- Follow industry specific analytics where the firm has material exposures, e.g. Commercial Real Estate, Consumer & Retail
- Support Credit Risk organization on regulatory exams and senior management ad-hoc requests
- Assist in the production of monthly credit risk data, analytics and commentary used for quarterly Chief Financial Officer earnings preparation, Investor presentations and SEC 10Q/10K reporting
- Stay up to date on the latest Risk related news and trends across the financial services industry, markets, politics, etc. to anticipate potential impact(s) on the Firm
- Develop new Business Intelligent Solutions (e.g. Tableau, Alteryx etc.) to improve analytical and control capabilities
- Challenge the status quo, build relationships with team members across the organization
