Position Type: Seasonal Contract, Part-Time & Full-Time Positions Available
Hours of Work: Variable - Monday through Sunday, days and evenings (closed Tuesdays) – Holidays, as required
Location: Orono, Ontario
Reporting to: Risk Management Co-ordinator
Start Date: December 2024 (Training begins November 2024)
At Brimacombe ski area we don’t just offer skiing and snowboarding, we offer a place for all ages to get outside, enjoy the fresh air and create memorable family experiences! We are currently seeking outgoing, customer-focused team members to help us turn everyday visits into wonderful winter memories.
As part of our Risk Management team, you will play a key role in defining the customer’s experience by providing primary treatment and responding to safety concerns, as well as contributing to the culture of our team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Emergency First Responder/Emergency Medical Responder with CPR/AED level HCP certification of higher from a reputable provider (minimum 40 hour course)
  • Ability to ski or snowboard competently in a variety of conditions (candidates may be required to pass an on-hill assessment)
  • Applicants must possess their own skis or snowboard
  • Demonstrated comfort with electronic reporting
  • Possess excellent critical thinking, communication and teamwork skills
  • Self-motivated and customer satisfaction-oriented
  • Willing to work in a variety of weather conditions
  • Successful applicants 18+ years of age will be required to provide a successful Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search, prior to the first day of work

Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming all guests and sharing your knowledge about the resort
  • Providing primary treatment of injuries and illnesses to all patrons and staff
  • Ensure high-level customer service, providing accurate and timely assistance to guests
  • Ensuring safe and efficient patient transport
  • Maintaining high standards of Risk Management and trail safety
  • Deliver support in the prevention/resolution of customer issues
  • Accurate completion of all required documentation
  • Ready to take on any challenge or help other team members when needed
