Job description
Purpose of the Role.
Planning, design and implementation of processes, systems and controls to optimize residual risk of the Branch Network to keep risk within appetite (cost-benefit)
Central Monitoring of key controls of the branch network to identify new opportunities to be more assertive, to train and supervise with high standard at branch level and by central team (Physical Channels and Risk Stewards)
Ensure effectiveness of new implementations to verify the right balance between customer/employee experience and control.
Design reviews and audits to have effective Control Monitoring Assessment (CMA) and Risk and Control Assessment (RCAs) to improve control environment and identify emerging risks.
Collaborate in the design and testing of new functionalities to be launched in order to ensure, those functionalities are suitable with the control environment.
Accelerate Tellers commercial productivity, without adverse impact for the service (NPS) and control of the branch
- Decrease risk exposure of Branch Network with appropriated cash controls and some other controls over the payments enablers (cards and chequebooks)
- Ensure appropriated integration of files during the onboarding and respective updates through Periodic Review, in order to avoid breaches and bad experience due to blocked accounts.
- Mitigate Internal and External fraud through robust controls balancing Experience vs risk appetite.
- Identify and redesign processes that allow poor Customer Experience due to misselling and early cancellation of products.
- Increase commercial productivity by Tellers.
- Complaints analysis from over controls.
- Albeit this position does not have own structure, it is responsible to engage, motivate and lead the Operative/Control structure of the branch to implement the enhancements for the control environment,
- Share the trends and insights with Control Environment team, to inspire and empower them.
Requirements
Advanced knowledge:
- Business/Administration degree
- Project Management experience
- Control of Branches (at least 2 years)
- Existing regulation applicable for branches
