Position Purpose: To contribute to the Risk team’s risk-management capabilities, provide support to the existing stack of risk-monitoring tools, and design and develop new solutions. The role requires proficiency in data analysis and strong programming skills in SQL and .NET, with Python skills also highly valued.
EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- min. Bachelor’s degree in Software Development, Software Engineering, Information Technology or other appropriate discipline or proven years of experience.
Responsibilities:
PRIMARY DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Support existing inhouse risk monitoring systems and tools.
- Assist in expanding and upgrading server-side risk reporting services and front-end dashboards.
- Assist in testing/QA of apps and services on the Risk team’s development stack.
- Ensure risk data is well-maintained with control processes to detect and promptly rectify issues.
- Develop understanding of and documentation on systems, data inputs and sources to ensure completeness, accuracy and validity of all risk data.
- Help assess new systems/vendors as needed.
Qualifications:
TO LAND THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED
- 3-5 years’ experience in a Software Developer/Engineer, Technology, or Data role.
- Working experience in .NET is a must.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL.
- Python, Streamlit, Mono, and Power BI are all nice-to-have, but not essential.
- Proficient with MS Excel.
