CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION

We are looking for people who can demonstrate the following:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, or similar
  • Chartered Member of a recognised professional body (e.g., Institution of Civil Engineers or similar), or working towards Chartership
  • Preferably from a background of having experience in the delivery of dams, rivers, and water infrastructure projects
  • Effective communication, with clients, project team and other project stakeholders
  • Experience of working in multidisciplinary teams

You will join a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technical specialists, supporting the preparation of engineering studies, calculations and outline/detailed civil engineering designs; producing technical and commercial specifications, drawings and schedules; and carrying out site supervision duties. You will support working in close partnership with clients and contractors, building strong relationships that will enhance the company’s reputation and help secure further work. As such, we are seeking Civil and / or Hydraulic Engineers specialising in river engineering who wish to develop their skill sets in both technical and / or commercial management with the anticipation of moving into roles of increasing responsibility.
