TITLE: Lead Bootfitter
REPORTS TO: Retail Manager
Revelstoke Mountain Resort (RMR) is a division of Canada’s largest privately held hospitality company, Northland Properties Corporation (NPC), and since its inception in 2007, we have gained a reputation for big mountain riding, legendary powder and an authentic Canadian resort town.
Job Summary
As Lead Boot fitter you’ll work closely with the Assistant Manager and boot fitters to ensure our guests receive the best gear and services so they can enjoy North America’s longest vertical. This role is a seasonal, full-time position from November through April. As an ideal candidate you have in-depth knowledge and experience with all aspects of fitting including custom foot beds and sales in a ski/board environment.

Essential Job Functions

  • Train boot fitters.
  • Provide leadership to the boot fitters.
  • Fit guests with ski and snowboard boots
  • Evaluate and build custom foot beds.
  • Strive to exceed guest expectations.
  • May include other responsibilities such as other hard goods sales, inventory counts, and other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications and Abilities

  • 2+ years’ experience in boot fitting and custom foot beds
  • Experience as a lead hand or supervisor will be considered an asset.
  • Experience selling hard goods ski and snowboard equipment.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

  • Full-time, seasonal position
