How you make a difference:
As a Registered Nurse OneCare Manager, you will work under the direct supervision of healthcare leadership to conduct and coordinate patient care plans, employing a comprehensive approach that encompasses assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Your role will involve close collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure adherence to agency, local, state, and federal laws and regulations while delivering high-quality patient care. By leveraging your nursing expertise and adherence to best practices, you will contribute to the efficient and compliant provision of healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize the nursing process to deliver high-quality patient care, including accurate assessments, data analysis, and care plan implementation, in compliance with established standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with behavioral health professionals in developing individualized care plans, attend treatment team meetings to share relevant information, and provide nursing assessments and treatment recommendations for patients’ medical and emotional well-being.
  • Maintain thorough patient records, ensuring compliance with program requirements and HIPAA regulations, and effectively communicate with healthcare providers to manage patient healthcare needs.
  • Actively participate in safeguarding patients’ rights and well-being, including reporting any abuse or maltreatment, while maintaining a clean and secure working environment.
  • Play a role in the orientation and training of new staff, assist in job shadowing during interviews, and demonstrate effective communication and sensitivity in diverse healthcare settings.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.

Experience

  • Previous correctional/detention facility experience preferred
  • Two years experience as an RN preferred

Licenses/Certifications

  • Unrestricted current registered nurse license, certification or registration in state of employment.
  • Must obtain and maintain security clearance
