DESCRIPTION

Provides quality care to patients in their homes under the direction of a physician. The Behavioral Health Nurse functions as a consultant in the nursing assessment of patients who are managed by other disciplines in the department and coordinates patient care activities with other members of the health care team. Position includes responsibility for the assessment, treatment, and care of patients of all ages including adults and geriatric

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate’s Degree - Nursing.
• Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree - Nursing.
• 3 years - Three to Five (3-5) Years in Acute care or community behavioral health setting.
• Community behavioral health and geriatric experience.
