Description:
DESCRIPTION
Under the direction of the Neuroscience Service Line Director, the Neuroscience Stroke Coordinator coordinates program development in conjunction with Neuroscience Service Line objectives and goals and works within the management structure of Neuroscience Services. Exhibits a comprehensive understanding of neuroscience patients, and a well-developed understanding of system issues and case management principles. Applies case management principles to service line activity. Develops and/or supervises research activity and coordinates data management for service line programs. Actively participates in education to hospital personnel related neuroscience patient care and service line activities. Serves as a resource to the community-at-large for education and system-wide program development. Displays behaviors that enhance professional performance and reflects the moral commitment, ethical principles, values, and philosophy of Providence Sacred Heart Medical and the Sisters of Providence. Demonstrates skill in communicating clearly, concisely, and factually in various settings utilizing both written and verbal means.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License
- 5 years Acute care setting
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s Degree
