Overview
IU Health is currently seeking a passionate, healthcare recruiter who is inspired by the impact they make recruiting bedside nurses for our system!
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field required, or equivalent years of experience.
- Requires knowledge of compensation structures and experience applying processes and guidelines for internal and external candidate hires.
- Requires a knowledge and understanding of HR related regulations and laws (e.g. FLSA; COBRA; ADA; FMLA; etc.)
- Requires knowledge in passive sourcing approaches, tools, and technologies.
- Requires demonstrated success implementing sourcing strategies and process improvement initiatives.
- Requires proficiency in MS office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and using an applicant tracking system. Requires 3-5 years of relevant experience in full life cycle recruiting within a matrixed organization; nursing recruitment experience strongly preferred.
- Requires experience with internet sourcing and recruiting strategies and practices.

Responsibilities:
- You will partner with nursing leadership and provide strategic and tactical talent acquisition expertise.
- You will support nursing leaders with their staffing needs by owning the recruitment process which includes posting positions, reviewing and phone screening applicants, candidate selections, offer extension, and ensuring successful arrivals on their first dates of employment.
- You will apply basis total rewards strategies to ensure the compensation package aligns with the candidate skills and abilities and customer expectations.
- You will ensure the right recruiting strategies are in place and executively effectively.
- You will guide leaders in selecting the best talent and support leaders throughout the recruitment process.
- You will provide project management and consultative support as requested, particularly surrounding passive candidate sourcing strategies and more.
- You will collaborate with the Campus Recruitment and Sourcing teams to bring in top talent to the organization.
