Description:

We are looking for an experienced Road Civil Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience working on large-scale PMO projects . The candidate will be responsible for leading the design, construction, and management of road infrastructure projects within a PMO framework. This role requires strong expertise in road engineering, project management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of projects within the scope and budget.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in road engineering, with a focus on PMO projects.
  • Strong proficiency in CAD software and engineering design tools.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale road and infrastructure projects within a PMO environment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of road construction processes, materials, and technologies.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, with experience in risk management, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Familiarity with local, national, and international road engineering standards and regulations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • PMP, CCP, or other relevant certifications.
  • Experience working on government-funded or large-scale public infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and construction of road and highway infrastructure projects under the PMO framework.
  • Develop detailed engineering plans, technical specifications, and project documentation using CAD software and other engineering tools.
  • Collaborate with the PMO to ensure alignment of road engineering activities with overall project goals, schedules, and budgets.
  • Supervise on-site construction teams, ensuring compliance with safety standards, quality control, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor project performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular progress reports to stakeholders and the PMO.
  • Conduct site assessments and surveys to ensure accurate project planning and execution.
  • Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and other external partners involved in the project, ensuring seamless coordination.
  • Lead risk management efforts, identifying and mitigating potential issues before they affect project timelines or costs.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as environmental and safety guidelines.
  • Work closely with the PMO team, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met and expectations are managed.
  • Prepare and deliver technical reports, designs, and updates to the PMO, senior management, and other key stakeholders.
