WSP is looking for a highly experienced Road Engineer to join our team for a large-scale infrastructure project in Madinah. The ideal candidate should have extensive supervision experience on major infrastructure projects, specifically focused on bridges and tunnels. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring project quality, adherence to timelines, and compliance with safety standards.
Your new role, what’s involved?
- Supervise and oversee the execution of road engineering activities on-site, ensuring compliance with design specifications, project plans, and industry standards.
- Monitor and manage the construction of bridges and tunnels, addressing technical challenges and providing engineering solutions as needed.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless execution of the project.
- Conduct site inspections and prepare detailed reports on project progress, identifying and mitigating any potential risks.
- Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, and construction materials in alignment with project requirements.
- Ensure that all construction activities are performed according to the highest safety standards and quality benchmarks.
- Assist in managing project schedules, resource allocation, and deliverables to meet deadlines.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and site staff.
