BACK TO SEARCH

Are you ready to take the wheel in planning road freight coming from Scandinavia and make logistics run like clockwork?
We’re looking for a Planner to join our team in Normanton, West Yorkshire, and help manage the movement of goods from Sweden, Norway, and Finland. You’ll work alongside an 8-person team and will be the go-to person for organising road transport and ensuring deliveries are both timely and cost-effective.
What You Will Do
Keep the wheels turning by planning and coordinating road freight from Sweden, Norway, and Finland.
Be the go-to person for clients, keeping them updated and sorting out any bumps along the way.
Team up with carriers to book transport, negotiate the best deals, and track shipments like a pro.
Stay on top of the details by keeping records sharp and reporting on how things are running.
What We’re Looking For
Some experience in planning, freight forwarding, or a similar logistics role.
Good knowledge of road transport regulations and customs processes in Europe.
Comfortable using logistics software and Microsoft Office.
Strong communication skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
Fluent in English is a must; if you can speak another European language like French, German, or Dutch, that’s a big bonus.
Got certifications in logistics or transportation? That’s a nice plus, but not a deal-breaker.
Enough about us. We want to hear about you now! Click the apply button and submit your CV and a few words on why this position is interesting to you and why you believe you’d be a great fit for this role.
If you have any questions please contact Activity Manager Morten West at morten.west@leman.com or +44 07881249292 We are looking forward to hearing from YOU!
