Description:
On the Dot, a subsidiary of Media24, currently requires the services of a Roaming Merchandiser.
We seek to appoint a dynamic and energetic individual to assume responsibility as Roaming Merchandiser, reporting to the Merchandising Supervisor, working 5 days in a week on a fixed-term contract of 6 months. The position will be based in Uitenhage /Despatch route and the incumbent must have a valid driver’s car and own reliable car.

REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12/ matric certificate
- 2 years’ sales experience
- 2 years’ merchandising experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Must have own reliable vehicle
Responsibilities:
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Merchandising of all products to various stores, to ensure that the products are available and visible to all merchandised agents
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Daily reports - minimising sell-outs
- Ensure that proper levels of stock are maintained, and that the merchandise is displayed appropriately and favourable shelf placement.
- Monitor sales volumes, inspect inventory levels, and maintain in-store promotional materials throughout promotional periods
- Ensure all products are visible to the customers
- Perform audits regularly, and resolve issues that may arise as a result of these audits
- Handle queries
- Ensure that promotional products are in the right place at the right time, and in the proper quantity and quality
- Ensure all products are available at all times
- Provide service and maintain good working relationships with retailers in order to help both the retailer and the division maximise sales and increase sales volumes
- Solve problems at the store level in order to maintain the standards established in the initial sales agreement
- Ensuring logistical procedures as per SOP completed
- General administrative duties and ensure that deadlines are met
