Job Description
Technology Services (TS) is responsible for delivering all enterprise infrastructure, applications and related end user technology services across all Brookfield business groups, comprised of approximately 5,000 users.
Responsibilities
- Administering the day to day running of RPA processes
- Review, publish and scheduling of Bot processes
- Monitoring job queues across tenants and identifying issues that may require remediation, escalation to manager or stakeholder communication
- Access provisioning of users on the RPA platform and the Virtual Workstations.
- Establishing and maintaining cadence with our stakeholders to ensure our Bots are bringing value and any enhancements required are identified
- Analyzing and understanding existing Bot processes to facilitate the development/maintenance of our runbooks.
- Supporting workflow design for new projects as part of development team and working within project planning constraints, communicating any identified project risks and issues to the delivery/project manager accordingly
- Design of specific workflows, apps, etc.
- Conducting unit and integration testing for Bot developed internally
- Supporting the Business during the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and deployment phases
- Incident Management – handling the day-to-day issues pertaining to production environment
- Create, manage, and update tickets in ServiceNow
- Managing and investigating incidents logged
- Design solution for the errors, test/UAT and follow change management process to deploy tested fixes to Production environment.
- Enhancements - Design and develop enhancements for the RPA processes in Production
- Follow established ITIL change management and incident management process to deploy RPA processes in Production
- Communicating with RPA vendor on software related issues or staying updated on latest features
- Assist in the preparation of documentation, preparing best practices standards, achieve KPIs and measure to assist in the growth of the RPA Program
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related fields.
- 2+ years of automation/workflow apps development experience and/or RPA Developer Certification - UiPath preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work well with business unit SME’s, Business Analysts, vendors, and end users in cross- functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root cause of an error.
- Track record of meeting or exceeding client expectations, personal performance expectations, and achieving project goals.
- Previous experience with low-code/no-code platforms such as Microsoft PowerApps, Unqork, and similar technologies, in design, development and deployment of custom applications.
- Understanding of workflow-based logic and the ability to understand a business process from a workflow diagram and conceptualize it as an automated solution.
- The ability to work with a structured and methodical approach to workflow design based on guidance provided.
- A self-starter who delivers high quality work, can adapt to new challenges, learn new technologies and be effective as part of a high-performance team.
