Description:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experienced in the area of personal injury law.
  • A degree or diploma in legal studies, paralegal studies, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in PC Law
  • Ability to manage and organize legal documents and case files
  • The capability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Collaborative mindset to work effectively within a legal team.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, lawyers, and other legal professionals.
  • Precision in reviewing and proofreading legal documents to ensure accuracy.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the lawyers in case preparation and strategy
  • Assist in drafting legal documents, such as pleadings, claim demands and applications
  • Organize and maintain legal files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible
  • Coordinate and schedule appointments, hearings, and meetings for the lawyers
  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal matters
  • Assist in preparing and filing legal documents
  • Assist in the investigation and gathering of evidence for cases
  • Handle administrative tasks, such as billing, timekeeping, and record-keeping
  • Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the practice area
  • Provide general administrative support to the legal team as needed.
