We are seeking an ambitious ROI Digital Channel Manager to lead the growth of our ROI website and app. In this pivotal role, you will develop and execute a dedicated trade and optimization plan to accelerate performance beyond its current trajectory. Collaborating with key ROI stakeholders and support teams, you’ll enhance core customer propositions, including Click & Collect, and create tailored category and range propositions for the ROI market. KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Digital merchandising: Utilising a data led approach to improve visual merchandising and site optimisation
  • Omni-channel retailing: Understanding of processes and capabilities needed to improve digital touchpoints and customer interactions across stores and online
  • Digital Analytics: Deep knowledge of digital metrics (both commercial and web) and confident use of sophisticated data platforms (such as Tableau or Metabase)
  • Financial Management: Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and digital P&L
  • Marketing Strategy: Ability to develop and execute effective on-site marketing campaigns
  • Worked in several roles as an eCommerce Manager (or equivalent role) across an established omni-channel retailer
  • Strong understanding of all core components that drive a digital business – trading, digital marketing, tech, UX, operations and customer experience
  • Strong grasp of UX/UI and how to leverage conversion rate optimisation (CRO) tactics to increase conversion and improve the customer experience
  • Comfortable interpreting customer insights from raw and disparate data sets to drive the right commercial actions
  • Excellent understanding of what levers to pull to drive sales and increase conversion online

Technical Experience

  • Technical: Hand on experience working in eCommerce platforms (Content Management Systems, PIM systems)
  • Data: Ability to interpret and analyse complex data sets and getting to clear recommendations of change.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills: Ability to independently influence senior stakeholders to align to key recommendations

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute an ROI eCommerce strategy - creating a plan that aligns with the business objectives and customer strategy which delivers growth ahead of current trajectory
  • Create and drive an ROI specific trade plan - working with the ROI commercial and ROI Marketing Manager to build a plan that’s tailored to the ROI market and exploits key opportunities
  • Budgeting and forecasting – lead on building the annual financial budget alongside finance and digital marketing teams and lead on weekly and monthly commercial forecasting processes
  • Performance reviews - represent digital in weekly and monthly ROI sales review meetings. Being prepared with key insights and clear action plan to support opportunity areas
  • Data Analysis and Reporting – track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure website and commercial effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Obsessively reviewing data daily through our comprehensive data platform Metabase
  • Product assortment – utilising a range of data sources to make recommendations on new product or range opportunities to drive incremental performance and customer growth
  • Website/App optimisation – continuously reviewing customer, commercial and site analytics data to recommend and execute on core changes to key journeys, navigation and landing pages
  • Customer Propositions – take ownership of key propositions including Click & Collect, Subscribe & Save and delivery options to drive greater participation, recommending proposition improvements and ultimately driving greater customer satisfaction
