QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Min Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering. Member of the OEQ (An asset)
Years of experience: Min 5 years of work experience in the heavy rail industry
Technical competencies:
- Experience with Autocad
- Proven expertise with rolling stock or locomotives
- Fluency in French and functional level of English to work closely with stakeholders in Ontario
PERSONAL & SOFT SKILLS:
- Must have aptitudes for team work on multidisciplinary projects.
- Must be able to work independently, sometimes under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Must be proficient at writing clear technical reports and proposals.
- Must be willing to travel both domestically and internationally for short term assignments.
- Must show leadership and grow the business.

Responsibilities:
- Act as a technical lead for rolling stock studies, procurement and maintenance projects as well as for rolling stock maintenance facilities
- design and maintenance equipment acquisition projects.
- Act as a project manager on assigned rolling stock projects, with the objective of ensuring that the delivered results meet and surpass the
- customer’s expectations and project profitability targets are met.
- Prepare technical and financial proposals for assigned rolling stock project.
