Description:

Located on Noosa’s famous Hastings Street on the Sunshine Coast you will find Mantra French Quarter offering guests a range of one and two bedroom apartments and relaxing lagoon pool, providing a tranquil hideaway in the centre of the resort for guests to enjoy. When you are not working, take advantage of Noosa’s famous restaurants and shopping boutiques, or immerse yourself in nature with Noosa National Park and Main Beach at your doorstep.
Purpose
As the Rooms Division Manager, your key role is to ensure the seamless operation of the Front Office, Housekeeping, and Maintenance departments, all geared toward achieving exceptional guest satisfaction. Your collaborative partnership with the General Manager will be instrumental in driving revenue growth.

The Role & Location

  • Base Salary $85,000 + Super & Access to Accor Staff Discounts
  • Free onsite secure parking – right in the heart of Hastings Street
  • Mentor and guide a team of 30 across Front Office, Housekeeping and Maintenance
  • Work Your Way, with flexible working arrangement to fit your lifestyle
  • Spend lunch break overlooking famous Noosa main beach
  • Work with an extremely supportive General Manager

Primary Responsibilities

  • Champion exceptional customer service standards, ensuring that guests’ needs are met promptly and effectively
  • Provide support and guidance to Department Heads (where applicable) to enhance the effective management of all team members
  • Cultivate an environment of open communication and operational efficiency among departments to ensure the overall financial success of the property
  • Maintain a forward-thinking business perspective, actively seeking opportunities to expand and retain owner and guest business within the property
  • Lead by example by consistently delivering passionate, knowledgeable, and friendly service to both external and internal guests
  • Address issues and challenges proactively, finding innovative solutions to ensure a seamless guest experience
  • Coach and mentor team members for their career growth, while leveraging networking and learning opportunities for your own development

Skills & Experience

  • Experience as a department head within Front Office or Housekeeping
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of revenue management
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and work well under pressure
  • Proficiency in conflict resolution and crisis management
  • You foster a can – do approach with impeccable attention to detail and exceptional time management skills
