Salary: Starting from £29,845.20 per annum (dependent on qualifications/experience)
Hours: Full time, 40 hours Monday - Friday
Location: 50 Bank Street, Canary Wharf, London, E14 5NS
We are looking for a full time, Level 3 qualified Room Leader to join our Bright Horizons Bank Street Nursery, situated in Canary Wharf. We have roles available in our preschool, and baby room.
Our nursery, proudly rated Good, offers a warm and welcoming environment for children to thrive. Conveniently located in Canary Wharf, with excellent transport links via the Underground, DLR, and Elizabeth Line, our 67-place setting is easily accessible for families and professionals alike. While we don’t have a garden on-site, we make the most of our riverside location with daily walks, giving children the opportunity to explore nature and their local surroundings. We’re also just a short stroll from the shopping centre and a variety of restaurants.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education
- Ensure the learning environment provides consistent stimulation and engaging activities for the children, across both the indoor and outdoor areas
- Deliver and plan rich learning opportunities and exceptional care, to help all children to develop and meet their individual milestones
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents and/or carers, as well as other professionals, to meet the individual needs of each child
- Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding
- Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment
