POSITION SUMMARY

As Rooms Preventative Maintenance Engineer at St Pancras, you will be expected to perform scheduled preventative maintenance in guest rooms, (CARE, RPM, GCPM), meeting rooms, and/or public spaces as required. There’s a lot involved with this role, however ultimately, your skill, knowledge and expertise ensure that our guests are welcomed to a product that is not only five star, but a product that we are extremely proud of! With two different room products at St Pancras (Barlow House and Chambers), its essential that you follow and comply with RPM schedules and checklists in order to protect the heritage of this iconic building.

Responsibilities: Here’s what your journey with us entails

  • Following guest room preventive maintenance checklist for each room.
  • Individually completing rooms preventative maintenance (RPM, CARE, GCPM) process for guest rooms in efficient and effective manner as measured by individual rooms inspections performed by the Director of Engineering or designee. Upon completion, rooms should be clean, and all equipment and materials removed from the room.
  • Performing scheduled preventative maintenance and general cleaning of all surfaces in guest rooms as required, including inspecting/flipping mattresses, box springs, vacuuming behind and underneath furniture, spot cleaning carpets and upholstery, touch-up painting, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, ensuring that all hardware and appliances are present in the room and in working order, cleaning and replacing light fixtures, and inspecting grout and caulking.
  • Maintaining, repairing, and cleaning all guest rooms, meeting rooms, and/or public spaces in accordance with the property room preventative maintenance procedures and standard guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
