As a Rooming House Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high quality tenancy and property management at our Queens Road facility. This is a leadership role that also supports our kitchen staff to deliver a healthy and effective meal service and ensuring cleaning and maintenance contractors complete work to a high standard for staff and residents.
With a strong focus on providing excellent customer service delivery, you will also work closely with key stakeholders such as government department, clients, support agencies and relevant CHL departments to maintain a mutually beneficial relationship and facilitate regular meetings to ensure effective communication and service delivery.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Ensure timely, accurate, and efficient operation of CHL rental collection and arrears recovery systems
  • Conducting condition reports, tenancy sign up, entry procedures, lease and rent reviews, and exit procedures
  • Liaising with Asset Management Unit in relation to tenanted and vacated property maintenance.
  • Coordinating reporting, complaints, compliance, quality, and accountability requirements along with responding quickly to tenancy breaches & representing CHL at VCAT.
