Rope Access Technician, Level 1 and 2

WCC Group is a growing civils, specialist rope access and confined space company operating in the West Coast of Scotland. Our works include maintenance, emergency cover, rescue cover, service contracts and various project works. Rope access-related work is regular but forms only part of the role, the ability to adapt to other roles when required is essential.
WCC Group is seeking experienced Level 1 and Level 2 rope access technicians to work on-shore in a full-time, permanent position within our team.
There may be a requirement for candidates to work weekends/additional overtime hours to suit the business needs

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

Required

• CSCS Card or NPORS card.
• IRATA Level 1 or Level 2.
• Must already hold, or be willing to undergo the Security Clearance, (SC), process.

• Liaise with customer on-site team and management.
• Carry out work promptly and safely.
• Comply with company health, safety and environmental standards.
• Ensure that all incidents and near misses are reported.
• Inspect equipment prior and after use to ensure it is in good working order.
