Responsibilities:
As a Pharmacy Technician, your role is essential for the smooth operation of our dispensary. Here’s how you’ll contribute daily:
- Dispensary Management: Assist the chief or senior technician in overseeing dispensing services to ensure seamless operation.
- Stock Management: Maintain pharmacy stocks by ordering and requisitioning supplies from the Pharmacy Store as required.
- Patient Counselling: Provide guidance to patients and carers on medication usage, ensuring they understand their prescriptions.
- Support for Prescribing: Promote adherence to the Trust formulary and local prescribing guidelines to enhance medication effectiveness.
- Training and Mentorship: Support and supervise trainee pharmacy technicians, trainee pharmacists, and other pharmacy staff to foster a skilled team
