WE ARE EXPANDING THE ROV TEAM!

We are seeking a Tooling & ROV Workshop Technician to our new workshop at CCB, Ågotnes. In this role you will support the ROV Atlantic region with tooling and support of ROV & Lars systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient service out to our offshore projects. You will collaborate with a team of experts and contributing to the success of DOF. Effective communication and coordination skills are essential as you will be working closely with the ROV team offshore, project management, Sale/Tender team, client and external service providers and vendors related to ROV operations, repair and maintenance.

In this role, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Control of incoming and outgoing tooling and equipment
  • Maintain, refurbish and prepare ROV tooling
  • Inspection & testing of tooling and equipment
  • Maintenance and repair of ROV’s
  • Budgeting of ROV’s refurbishment
  • Good knowledge of marked and marked prices on ROV Tooling
  • Purchasing and following up vendors - FAT & SAT
  • Stocktaking and inventory control of Tooling, Equipment, ROV system spares and consumables.
  • Maintaining good housekeeping practices in all areas of workshop

REQUIREMENTS

  • High focus on HSEQ
  • Technical education within one or more of the following subjects - Electrical, Electronics, Hydraulics or Mechanics (Experience can compensate for lack of formal competency.)
  • Strong technical knowledge of ROV systems, equipment and tooling
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to work in a demanding and fast-paced environment
  • Team player with strong leadership qualities
  • Experience with TM Master is advantageous
  • Good knowledge in English, verbally and in writing
