Responsibilities:

WHAT THIS POSITION IS ABOUT - PURPOSE

The purpose of this position is to support the marketing communications arm of Reduced-Risk Product (RRP) brands and support the launch of JTI Philippines in the emerging RRP category, particularly by managing RRP internal and external communications, with emphasis on digital communications. You will translate brand messages into relevant communications in various online and offline platforms.
This position will drive internal awareness on the RRP category mission and vision within JTI Philippines through relevant programs in agreement with Corporate Affairs, media partners, and external agencies.This includes, but is not limited to, content and copy, social media management, and community engagement.
Aside from RRP, you will also help drive awareness and engagement for JTI Philippines’ trade engagement platforms through content strategy and production across channels to help drive acquisition, usage, and retention of trade partners. The role also supports in other content requirements of other functions such as Field Marketing and Consumer Care. You will also be responsible for leading agencies contracted to help deliver these communication objectives, ensuring quality of output, timeliness of results, agility in adjust communications as needed, and compliance with legal and internal guidelines.

WHAT WILL YOU DO - RESPONSIBILITIES

  • PR Management: Create awareness for the RRP category and relevant JTI cross-functional products (internal and external) by devising creative strategies that result in higher awareness and understanding of the category and its products, increased search volume and in turn, more organic website traffic leading to the RRP Digital Ecosystem, particularly to the E-Comerce site and/or trade engagement digital platforms. Strategies include, but are not limited to, coordination with Corporate Affairs to engage the media, article seeding to digital publishers, influencer management, etc
  • Content Management: Produce content aligned with the RRP Digital Ecosystem’s SEO strategy. Plot content calendars to drive always-on relevance and awareness of the RRP category in the digital space, both internal and external. Ensure that content calendar is aligned with RRP category’s trade programs to ensure always-on push.
  • Partner & Agency Management: Experience in sourcing and leading PR agencies to ensure timeliness in meeting achievements and deliverables that translates into tangible results. Must be able to lead agencies to deliver desired output to support JTI’s RRP and trade engagement brands/platforms
