Description:

We are looking for an RRV Fitter to join Ground Control’s Workshop and Technician Team in our Rail and Infrastructure Division.
You will be responsible for preventative maintenance, mechanical and electrical repair, of Ground Control’s vehicles & related ancillary equipment.
This is a field-based role and you will work from either the depot in Newark or nationwide as required.

What you’ll achieve:
- Complete diagnostic analysis where needed.
- Action all repairs and maintenance as per RPA / company / manufacturers requirements and standards
- Use fault diagnosis to ensure first time fix is efficient and cost effective.
- Complete full end of shift handovers including vehicle on or off-road status.
- Prepare required paperwork.
- Build rapport and develop trust from both internal and external customers.

- Contribute towards the continuous improvement of processes/methods and operating practices within the Workshop.
