This new center will initially deliver Finance, Human Resources and Legal services to ELC employees across several geographies and time zones. Through a new innovative service minded approach, this center will redefine service standards globally at ELC. This new GBS team will provide a one-stop-shop solution for the ELC businesses, supported by new customer engagement insights, new systems, and new reporting. In addition to delivering exceptional service to the ELC businesses each day, the GBS team will also be responsible for continuously streamlining work in pursuit of growing its service offering in support of achieving ELC’s strategic and business objectives. POSITION OVERVIEW

This role is critical in providing financial support to the New Brands Empowerment Team, this role will be responsible for executing the month end closing activities such as: preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages, journal entries, BS & P&L integrity, intercompany cross charges, ensuring timeliness and and providing ad-hoc analysis. Demonstrating a ‘customer first’ attitude, the individual will partner with other functional areas to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of financial services. The candidate must demonstrate a strong financial skill set to analyze complex business transactions and understand their impact on end financial statements.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform Intercompany Reconciliation: Prepare Intercompany AR and AP templates and cross-charge summaries to ensure accurate reconciliation and allocation between entities.
  • Execute Journal Entries and Reconciliations: Perform journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accurate financial adjustments are reflected in the financial reports.
  • Manage Lease and Fixed Asset Schedules: Assist in executing Lease Roll-forward and Fixed Asset (FA) Roll-forward schedules, ensuring accurate tracking of capital leases and fixed assets.
  • Support Ad Hoc Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and deliver ad hoc financial reports and analyses as required by management, providing key insights to support decision-making.
  • Maintain Process Documentation: Help create and update process documentation to support clear understanding and consistent execution of financial tasks.
  • Ensure Efficient Operations: Support efforts to complete tasks efficiently and effectively, contributing to smoother month-end and quarter-end close processes.
  • Support Compliance with Controls: Adhere to SOX and other operational controls, ensuring all work complies with internal standards and audit requirements.
