RtR Senior Specialist

Our Finance Unit within the Packaging Materials Division carries out accounting tasks and provides financial services in multiple areas.
We are now looking for an RtR Senior Specialist to join our team in Ostrava. We are a small, dedicated team that collaborates closely to ensure smooth financial operations across the company.
You will be located in Ostrava and report to the team lead.
Key responsibilities of the position:
- Manage and execute end-to-end Record to Report (RTR) processes, ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Perform general ledger reconciliations, including accruals, prepayments, and adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with local GAAP/IFRS and internal financial policies and procedures.
- Analyze financial statements and provide insights into variances.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and controls within the RTR function.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including AP, AR, and external auditors, to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Participate in special finance-related projects as needed.
What we expect from you:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar RTR role.
- Understanding of accounting principles (IFRS/local GAAP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Experience in a multinational or shared services environment is an advantage.
- English B2 or higher.
Additional skills that will help you succeed in this role:
- Knowledge of SAP
