Description:

LOCATION: EL SEGUNDO, CA

Purpose of Role:
We are looking for a Supply Planning Analyst to join our NYX Professional Make-up S&OP team in the Consumer Products Division of L’Oréal USA. This role will support the Global Operations. As a supply-planning analyst, you are in charge of tracking the global stock availability to every zone and highlight any risk on service or inventory goals.
Role Responsibilities:

Manage relationship with our worldwide affiliates and global factories via strong communication skills

  • Product availability and risks communication
  • Review supply planning parameters, and production blocked horizon to optimize service level
  • Review and question zone demand variations
  • Review and validate consolidated worldwide demand sent to factories
  • Review production plans to reduce impact of low stock SKUs as well as to prevent planning excess inventory
  • Responsible for the confirmation of the requirements to the zones including Launch availability adherence and arbitration of at-risk items to maximize worldwide sales
  • Tracking of inbound priority shipment and anticipate / communicate next steps with stakeholder for quick turnaround
  • Influence decisions and actions across the global organization to optimize service level and inventory
  • Maintain system cleanliness (substitution & Catalogue management)
  • Participate in continuous improvement process and new flow/network projects
  • Proactively working on the improvement of the S&OP performance
  • Escalates to direct manager timely for the resolution of issues and/or determine next steps
  • Is able to present project status and other relevant content comfortably to Senior Management as needed
  • Influences decision making in performance improvement and resolves obstacles
  • Participate in cross functional project teams to develop/sustain Best in Class Supply Chain methodologies
  • Participate in change requests, testing of new functionalities and non-regression
  • Manage the kick-off of launch projects to affiliates and collection of demand
  • Optimize flow of materials from factories to affiliates

Key Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree
  • Analytical and data oriented
  • Experience in Supply Chain management
  • International experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods industry
  • Experience in systems and process management

Competencies Required:

  • Proficiency required in Microsoft Excel and SAP.
  • Excellent cross functional influencing skills
  • Ability to manage complexity
  • Ability to be creative and agile in order to solve problems
  • Ability to create ad hoc report as needed
  • Flexible in a fast past changing environment
