WHAT DOES A SUCCESSFUL DEVELOPER PARTNERSHIPS MANAGER DO AT FISERV?

We are seeking an experienced Developer Partnerships Manager to lead and manage our Developer Integration partners, guiding them from establishment through to implementation on our Marketplace. To be successful in this role you would be an accomplished contributor who possesses excellent knowledge and experience in pitching and managing integrations and commercial partnerships.
To excel in this position, you must be driven to grow and manage a robust portfolio of partners, understanding their needs and priorities, and facilitating continuous growth and development. Key responsibilities include identifying the right partners based on merchant segment needs, negotiating partnership terms, managing accounts, and being accountable for the deployment and scaling up of partners. Additionally, you will direct partners to API documentation and address most questions related to APIs.
The candidate must be able to communicate effectively with internal teams to deliver the operational and technical capabilities required to grow our business with partners and enhance operational and reporting efficiency. Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate potential Developer Partners based on merchant segment needs and strategic goals.
  • Negotiate partnership agreements and terms to build a winning commercial model and drive successful outcomes for Fiserv and partners.
  • Ensure partnerships are profitable and sustainable for Fiserv.
  • Guide partners through the integration process, from initial setup to full implementation on the Marketplace.
  • Provide technical guidance and support, ensuring partners have access to and understand API documentation.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with new and existing partners, ensuring their needs are met and they remain engaged.
  • Develop and execute strategies to grow the partner ecosystem, including onboarding new partners and scaling existing partnerships.
  • Monitor and analyze partner performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including product, engineering, sales, and marketing, to align partnership activities with overall business goals.
  • Communicate partner needs and feedback to internal teams to drive product and service enhancements.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of partnership activities and performance metrics.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities to inform partnership strategies.
