Description:

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in business leadership roles, ideally within the SaaS or technology sectors.
  • Familiarity with EU regulations, including compliance with VAT, GDPR, and sales of physical electronic devices.
  • Experience managing eCommerce processes, especially on platforms like Amazon DE.
  • Track record of developing and executing go-to-market strategies in the DACH or broader EU regions.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and scale teams effectively.
  • Fluent in German and English, with additional European languages a plus.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • Initial Training: 3-month onboarding and training period in Houston, TX.
  • Ongoing: Quarterly travel to the US for leadership meetings and regular travel within Europe for trade shows and industry events.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Regulatory Compliance: Set up and manage processes to ensure compliance with EU regulations, including VAT, GDPR, and physical electronic device sales regulations.
  • eCommerce Management: Oversee and manage eCommerce listings, particularly on platforms such as Amazon DE, ensuring a smooth and compliant sales process.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate with US-based executives to refine and execute the go-to-market strategy for the DACH region, providing critical feedback on market needs, customer behaviors, and competitive landscape.
  • Localization & Adaptation: Advise on localization of marketing, sales materials, and product features to ensure optimal alignment with the cultural and business norms of the DACH region.
  • Sales & Customer Success Support: Provide high-level support for both sales and customer success teams, driving customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Industry Representation: Attend and lead trade shows, conferences, and industry events across Europe, building OptiSigns’ presence and networking with industry leaders. Team Leadership: Build and lead a local team based in Munich, ensuring alignment with OptiSigns’ global vision while driving region-specific growth and success.
