Description:

At GN, we are at the forefront of major technology shifts, offering smart audio solutions through our Jabra brand. Constantly growing, evolving, and pushing for innovation, we have created the world’s first ultra-noise-cancelling microphone, the first Bluetooth headset and the first sports headphones with an integrated heart rate monitor – just to name a few.
As System ART Architect you will be part of part of the Software Architecture team based at our headquarters in Ballerup, Denmark.
The team you will be part of
You will join project managers, product owners, Scrum masters, and your fellow architects in our mission to create easy-to-use, well-crafted solutions that allow our customers to utilize Jabra devices to their full potential.
Your contribution is appreciated, and you will be at the center of the development process as the System ART Architect. Your role is to work with RTEs and Product Managers to ensure that Architecture and Planning meet and the result is reflected in the backlogs.
Everything is moving to the cloud, and Jabra has engaged in a big journey to create the cloud platform for the future. While our primary goal is to ensure a future-proven, scalable, innovative cloud platform for building the next generation applications, Jabra relies on the Architecture team to design solutions for future solutions as well: 5G enabled devices, Native IoT cameras, AI processing on Edge nodes etc.

Examples of the tasks are:

  • Collaborate with Product Management and RTEs to define NFR and Enablers for the ART
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Product Owners to ensure well described backlog for the development teams
  • Interact with Solution Architects in the design creation process
  • Work with architecture board and development teams to ensure guidelines for coding, testing etc.
  • Join the Architect Team to define and implement the architectural principles and roadmaps

Our IT-platform consists of a backend built using microservice architecture with .Net Core/C# running in Azure and a frontend using modern technologies for the various clients (Angular, C#, Swift, Kotlin etc.). We have taken DevOps to its full potential, so be prepared to release often!
To succeed in the role, we imagine that you:
Bring a deep level of engineering expertise and proven skills to ensure impactful results. You probably started your carrier as a developer and has now grown into the role of solution architect or you have already tasted the role as an ART Architect.
The important thing is that you are comfortable working with many different stakeholders, you understand architecture and development processes, and you like to coordinate the work across many different areas.

Further, we require that you:

  • are self-driven and can identify and handle challenges on your own
  • are familiar with .NET framework, C#, and JS/TS
  • have fundamental understanding of and experience with cloud platforms/technologies
  • speak and write fluent English
  • Experience with working in a SAFe setup is beneficial

We encourage you to apply
Even if you don’t match all the above-mentioned skills, we will gladly receive your application if you think you have transferrable skills. We highly value a mindset, motivation, and energy, that aligns with our core values, to not only ensure growth for you, but for your team and the wider GN organization as well.
