Description:
The post holder will be required to provide a full administrative service to the safeguarding team. To administer the Safeguarding Team statutory function in the communication of information relating to DRAM and MARAC meetings to colleagues in Primary Care. To support the administration and delivery of training to colleagues in Primary Care and ICB teams Main Duties and Responsibilities To plan, organise and prioritise administrative work, to ensure all tasks are conducted efficiently, accurately and within identified deadlines. To complete administrative duties within the team which will support colleagues to conduct their roles and ensure the effective functioning of the team.
To act as first point of contact for the team and take responsibility for answering queries over the telephone, face to face and via email, directing the same to the appropriate team member. To deal with and resolve queries on behalf of the team with internal and external stakeholders, including difficult conversations requiring tact and diplomacy. . To deal appropriately with information of a complex and sensitive nature To arrange regular and ad-hoc meetings for members of the safeguarding team, both with internal and external colleagues.
To prepare agendas and papers; to take and administer formal minutes for safeguarding meetings. To support the management of diaries for members of the safeguarding team as appropriate To communicate information and outcomes to colleagues and other stakeholders as required To deputise for other administrators within the safeguarding team and ICB as appropriate To ensure safe storage of information, in-line with GDPR and Information Governance guidelines To administer the Safeguarding Team statutory function in the communication of information relating to DRAM and MARAC meetings to colleagues in Primary Care. To support the administration and delivery of training to colleagues in Primary Care and ICB teams General The post holder will: Treat people with dignity and respect. Be aware of and adhere to the provisions of the Health and Safety at Work Act and to ensure their own safety and the safety of others.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to the principles of data security and data protection. Follow a professional Code of Conduct, where relevant to the post. Participate in the organisational appraisal process. Be expected to undertake ongoing professional and personal development in line with the responsibilities of the post.
