Now you can be part of this exciting journey. We are looking for a person who can take on the role as Safety Communicator and Business Support. In this role you will be part of shaping and coordinating safety communication internally as well as externally. You will also be a host for visitors to Safety Centre and support the organization with administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL DO

The position as Safety Communicator and Business Support at Safety Centre means that you will support the department and have duties and responsibilities in three main areas.

  • Safety Communication:

You will be responsible of shaping and coordinating safety communication in collaboration with the Corporate Communication department. This includes taking part in the development and implementation of safety communication strategies by working closely with the key experts and partners at the company.

The responsibilities include planning and hosting events and visits to the Safety Centre for both internal and external guests.

  • Department support:

You will be responsible for internal communication and planning and executing internal events. You will also support the Safety Centre management team with business support related task such as invoicing, managing internal communication channels and handling accesses

  • Director support:

You will be a key support to the department director by handling meeting scheduling, agendas and travel bookings as well as overall administrative tasks.

To thrive in this role we believe that you, in addition to having a strong drive to identify needs and support, must have the following qualifications:

  • You have a passion for the Volvo Cars brand and safety technologies and the ambition to bring our brand’s safety leadership to the next level.
  • You are a skilled communicator with proven experience from communication, marketing, journalism or equivalent.
  • You speak Swedish and English fluently with excellent English writing skills.
  • You have experience from business support
  • You are curious and eager to understand and support your colleagues
