Description:
The Safety, Compliance and Risk Manager will lead the development, implementation, and management of comprehensive health, safety, and compliance programmes at Manchester Museum and The Whitworth Art Gallery. This role is critical in ensuring the safety of visitors, staff, and collections. They will identifying best practice and maintain adherence to legal and regulatory requirements. The post holder will work collaboratively across all departments to foster a culture of safety and compliance and continuous improvement within the museum and art gallery environment.
This role ensures that all Museum and Art Gallery operations meet regulatory requirements and promote a culture of safety and compliance among staff, volunteers, and visitors.
