We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Safety & Compliance Monitoring Manager to join our team. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company’s operations comply with key regulatory standards, including EASA Part 145, UKCAA Part 145, UKCAA Part CAMO, FAA Repair Station, Part 147 and more. Your responsibilities will include identifying areas for improvement, driving business excellence initiatives, and upholding the highest standards of safety and compliance across all facets of the organisation. Signature TECHNICAir, is a global provider of aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul specializing in small to mid-size, turbine-powered business aircraft, with locations throughout the United States and Europe. As a division of Signature Aviation, Signature TECHNICAir EMEA operates a full service, CAA & EASA certified Part 145 Repair Station at Bournemouth airport, in conjunction with strategically positioned mobile service units based at Farnborough and Luton airports that serve a wide range of capabilities, across the UK and Europe.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with Part 145, Part 66, and Part 147 regulations by maintaining the company’s quality system.
  • Develop and implement human factors principles, along with a continuation training programme for all relevant staff.
  • Oversee a Quality Audit Programme, addressing non-compliance and ensuring corrective actions are completed within set timeframes.
  • Hold regular meetings with the Accountable Manager to review the effectiveness of the Quality System.
  • Update procedures and practices to meet Part 145 and other regulatory requirements.
  • Assess suppliers, contractors, and sub-contractors to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Manage Part 145 authorisations and certification stamps for staff, maintaining accurate records.
  • Notify the competent authority of maintenance activities outside approved locations as per MOE procedures.
  • Develop and maintain the Safety Management System (SMS), addressing safety issues and reporting conditions that pose potential hazards.
  • Maintain safety documentation, competency records, and training logs.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, collaborating with teams to drive business excellence.
