Safety Coordinator

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 2 years of WSH working experience in construction is required for this position
• Candidate must possess either Advance Certification in WSH or Safety Coordinator Certificate
• Candidate must be fit and able to go to construction site.
• Must be able to drive and hold a minimum Class 2 or 3 driving license.
• Must be able to work 5.5 days/week

• Managing a team of safety supervisors
• Conduct weekly safety inspection together with individual safety supervisor
• To conduct safety audit on various project sites
• Conduct predically toolbox meetings, safety talk, safety awareness training & briefing
• Conduct safety induction programme for new workers
• To maintain and update safety records for all project sites
• To review method statements, risks assessments and safe work procedures
• To prepare and submit WSH reports, checklists and Permit-to-work
• To assist on site WSHO on incident or workplace investigations, if any
