Description:
We are looking for a Safety Engineer who would be assisting Safety Manager in the development, administration, implementation, and maintenance of an effective Safety Management System.
In this role, the Safety Engineer will support in handling all division activities within the Safety and Compliance Monitoring Department, ensuring alignment with company policies and procedures and compliance standard. (This includes adherence to Kuwait DGCA requirements, IOSA SARPs, and other authorities’ requirements to maintain ongoing compliance with all conditions and restrictions of the AOC as well as the company’s established policies & procedures).
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from aeronautical, mechanical, electrical, electronic, avionics, industrial, or other studies relevant to the aviation.
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience, out of which at least 1 year should be in a similar role.
- Knowledge of Kuwait DGCA regulations and requirements, ICAO Standards and recommended Practices, Annexes and relevant documents.
- Good analytical skill.
- Computer literacy in MS Office program applications.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the company’s safety reporting system, including occurrence reporting, complies with the applicable regulatory requirement.
- Conduct risk analysis and management, and monitor the implementation of actions taken to mitigate risks as outlined in the safety action plan.
- Provide required Safety Data for Operational Management Committee (OMC) and Safety Action Group (SAG) meetings.
- Provide appropriate safety data for Investigation of Incidents, as and when required.
- Prepare Monthly Safety Report.
- Prepare Safety Circulars, Bulletins as and when required.
